A Decade of Dedication

For over a decade, DAD has been at the forefront of addressing the challenges faced by veterans transitioning back to civilian life. Our approach isn't just about providing immediate aid; it's about fostering long-term solutions that empower veterans and strengthen communities across America.

Our Mission: More Than Just Support

Our mission extends beyond traditional support systems. We aim to:

Elevate Awareness

By raising public awareness about the issues facing our veterans, we aim to create a community of support and understanding.

Advocate for Veterans

We actively advocate for policies and programs that benefit veteran welfare and promote their interests.

Provide Direct Assistance

From emergency housing programs to essential services, our programs are designed to offer tangible, impactful support.

Our Vision: A Future Free from Veteran Homelessness

We envision a future where veteran homelessness is a thing of the past. Through our comprehensive network of support, we are working tirelessly to turn this vision into a reality, ensuring that every veteran has access to the support they need when they need it.

The Services We Offer

At DAD, we offer a range of services tailored to address the diverse needs of our veterans:

Emergency Accommodations

Our housing programs provide a safe and secure environment for veterans to transition back into civilian life.

Supportive Services

Through case Management we connect veterans and their families with programs offered through the VA and other community-based and often non-profit organizations to meet their individual and specific needs.

Basic Living Needs

We provide essentials to help veterans overcome immediate challenges, preventing them from spiraling into long-term hardships.

Community Support

Our work extends to supporting veteran shelters and organizing special events, like holiday support programs, to bring cheer to those who have served our nation.

Understanding the Risk Factors

Veterans face unique challenges that can put them at risk of homelessness. Understanding these factors is key to our approach, which includes support for those with an Honorable/General Discharge who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness.
